General Terms and Conditions

1. Introductory Provisions

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) set out the general conditions governing the legal relationship between Polygon Fox Digital Studio (hereinafter: Provider) and the client (hereinafter: Client).

The Provider offers web design, graphic design, digital marketing and related IT services. These GTC apply to all services provided by Polygon Fox.

2. Formation of Contract

The contract is formed as follows:

• The Client submits an inquiry via the contact form, email or other channel.
• The Provider prepares and sends a quote to the Client.
• The Client confirms the quote in writing (by email).
• The Provider commences work upon confirmation.

3. Payment Terms

• Deposit: 50% of the total order value is payable before work begins.
• Final invoice: The remaining 50% is payable before or at the time of delivery.
• Payment method: Bank transfer to the account number specified in the quote.
• Payment deadline: 8 working days from receipt of invoice.

In the event of late payment, the Provider is entitled to suspend work and charge statutory default interest under the Civil Code.

4. Turnaround Times and Deadlines

Turnaround time is calculated from the date of order confirmation and receipt of the deposit. Indicative timelines:

• Logo design: 1–2 weeks
• Full brand identity: 3–4 weeks
• Website development: 2–6 weeks (depending on complexity)
• Marketing campaign: 1–3 weeks preparation

The Provider endeavours to meet deadlines; however, if the Client delays feedback, the turnaround time extends proportionally.

5. Revisions and Modifications

• The number of included revision rounds is specified in the quote (typically 2–3 rounds).
• Modifications beyond the included rounds are subject to additional charges.
• Post-delivery modifications to approved and delivered materials are treated as a new order.

6. Copyright and Usage

Copyright of all produced materials remains with the Provider until full payment is received. Upon full payment, the Client receives an unlimited licence for the custom-produced materials.

The Provider reserves the right, with the Client's consent, to feature the completed work as a portfolio reference.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Provider accepts no liability for:

• Damages arising from incorrect data provided by the Client
• Delays caused by force majeure events (natural disasters, power outages, etc.)
• Issues caused by third-party platforms (hosting provider, domain registrar)

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the contract in writing with 5 working days' notice. Upon termination:

• The Provider is entitled to compensation proportional to the work completed.
• The deposit is refundable only if the Provider has not commenced work.

9. Dispute Resolution

The parties shall resolve disputes primarily through negotiation. If this proves unsuccessful, the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Hungarian court.
